As with all Fine Jewelry, proper care is essential to maintain the luster and shine of the jewelry.
Here are some helpful tips to help maintain your 14k gold jewelry:
General Maintenance: After wearing your jewelry, we recommend wiping it with a non-abrasive jewelry polishing cloth to remove dirt and build-up. For a deeper clean, we recommend periodically cleaning your 14k gold and diamond jewelry with a jewelry steamer.
Remove your gold jewelry before participating in any of the following activities: Showering, swimming, washing dishes, applying perfume, engaging in sports or working out. Exposure to soap and chemicals can leave an acidic residue on the jewelry which can damage it and cause premature wear.
Storing your gold jewelry: When you are not wearing your jewelry, we recommend storing it in a sealed bag such as a small ziplock bag. Always secure the clasps on your necklaces when not worn. This will help prevent knots in the chain from developing.
